For the third time in a row, Faber Group has received the Platinum Ecovadis sustainability rating! EcoVadis is a leading provider of business sustainability ratings, with a network of more than 75,000 rated companies. With the highest Platinum rating Faber Group resides in the top 1% tier of companies in our industry.
Ingrid Faber, CEO of Faber Group: “Receiving the highest Ecovadis rating continuously now for three years is for us the proof that we are doing the right thing when it comes to sustainability and a recognition for all our employees within our divisions IPP, PRS, PAKi, vPOOL and SATIM who have contributed to this great result.
The nature of our business -providing circular load carrier solutions, such a reusable and pay-per-use pallets and boxes – is in itself very sustainable and helps our customers to reduce the footprint in their supply chain.
In the past few years we have strengthened our sustainability strategy with the Faber Development goals – with focus to reduce the footprint in our own logistics and optimize the usage lifespan of our load carriers – together with our partners throughout the supply chain.
Considering Ecovadis tightens its standards each year for their ratings, it means we cannot rest on our laurels and we have to raise the bar each year on our sustainability performance. With the dedication of our employees and the ambitious targets we’ve set to become eventually a net-zero company by 2045 I am confident we will manage to remain in the top tier of Ecovadis.
This year we have also published our first Sustainability Report to be fully transparent to our stakeholders in how we want to achieve this goal and how we are performing on this journey.”
EcoVadis assesses and rates the sustainability efforts of companies worldwide on 21 criteria related to environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement – considering policies, actions and reporting. With a score of 81 out of 100, Faber Group and its divisions are part of the top 1% tier companies recognized with Platinum EcoVadis rating.
